What ApoB Adds
A traditional lipid panel; total cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, triglycerides, is useful, but it isn't the full cardiovascular story. ApoB reflects particle count, and particle count sometimes disagrees with cholesterol content. When the two diverge, ApoB is the context that keeps a “normal” LDL from being falsely reassuring.
How Rythm Frames It
Rythm brings ApoB together with Friedewald LDL-C, HDL-C, triglycerides, total cholesterol, remnant cholesterol, hsCRP, and several ratios. The LDL-C-to-ApoB ratio adds context about average cholesterol content relative to particle number (it's not a direct measurement of particle size and we'll always tell you the difference).
A Marker Built for Trending
ApoB is steady day to day, and it responds to diet, exercise, and weight change over roughly 4–8 weeks. In other words: it's exactly the kind of marker a monthly cadence was made for.
